This includes all hemp-derived CBD products like oils, edibles, and ointments. However, marijuana-derived CBD does not enjoy the same privileges as hemp. In some states, CBD derived from marijuana is completely legal; but in most states, its legality depends on a number of different factors and conditions.  Club Hemp products are derived 100% from hemp plants.  Some of our cbd oil are THC free and some have less than 0.3% which is considered legal.

*The legal landscape around CBD is unclear and changing rapidly both at the Federal and State level. The information on our website and any other communication regarding legality which you may receive from any representative of Club Hemp is for informational purposes only and not for the purpose of providing legal advice. You must make your own judgment regarding whether you should purchase CBD in your jurisdiction. You should contact your attorney to obtain more specific guidance.*

One of the oft-touted benefits of hemp products and hemp extracts is the unlikely probability that an individual will overdose. While not entirely impossible, it is extremely unlikely that an individual would overdose on CBD. By some estimates, an average 180lb male would need to take more than 33 tablespoons of CBD oil in order to overdose; given that the recommended dosage in this circumstance is 1/8 of a teaspoon, it would take a truly concerted effort in order to reach a level of CBD that was potentially harmful. We have never heard of anyone overdosing on CBD. Clubhemp.co recommends that you check with a Doctor you trust who is familiar with you and with CBD.

The cannabinoids produced in our bodies (endocannabinoids) help to regulate several functions of the body such as mood, pain sensation, sleep, and appetite. These substances exert their actions by binding to specific points of brain cells called the receptors through which they potentiate the actions of a substance called serotonin which acts to improve mood and reduce stress levels. Serotonin also acts by binding to its receptors in brain cells. When these chemical substances bind to their respective receptors, they trigger a series of events within each brain cell stimulating processes that improve mood and stress control.
CBD has been found to help improve depressive symptoms by modulating the actions of the endocannabinoids and also potentiating the effects of serotonin by enhancing the activity of the receptors unto which serotonin binds.

Demystifying the Use of Hemp for Healing

Unlike pharmaceuticals, our product is designed to return your body to “homeostasis.” We recommend small amounts and it makes no sense to do anymore, so following the specific directions an overdose should not happen, these are small amounts that are used, not to be abused.

The goal here is homeostasis, not medication – as stated in the FAQ, we provide hemp oil products and are not recommending drastic levels that would threaten your health. So stay within the usage guidelines we share, and there’s no reason to even consider this question (and you should do the same with any drug or prescription, they are not designed to overuse).

Homeostasis is your body’s natural position/condition when it is in perfect health. Imagine, if you will, a product that can help guide your body to “find it’s true North.” In other words, you cannot over-align your body “too North.” Once it arrives at “true North,” it cannot really become more “true.”

Can cbd oil help with anxiety?

There have been many reports that cbd oil does help with stress and anxiety. It creates homestasis or balance in the body.

What's the shelf life of your products? Do you use any preservatives?

At Club Hemp, we chose to keep artificial preservatives out of our products to keep true to our mission of health. Artificial preservatives have negative long term effects on our bodies. As a result, our products tend to have a much shorter shelf life than those typically found in big box stores.

Typically, our products have a shelf life of at least 12 months, yet we encourage our customers to use our products within 3 months for highest potency and safety.

Will Club Hemp products show up in a urine test?

Yes, it’s likely. Unfortunately, urine tests will pick up even trace amounts of our product so, unfortunately, if your job requires you to do random drug tests, we do not recommend using our product.

How do Club Hemp products differ from other hemp oils on the market?

We use nanotechnology to fractionalize the hemp oil into nano-particulates to make them super bioavailable to your body. This process breaks down the oil molecule into smaller particles which are 100% water soluble.

When comparing our product side-by-side with just pure hemp oils, our users have reported a “night and day” difference in potency.

Other hemp oil products typically do not contain the extra terpenes that:

act as serotonin uptake inhibitors (similar to antidepressants like Prozac);
enhance norepinephrine activity (similar to tricyclic antidepressants like Elavil);
increase dopamine activity; and
augment GABA (the “downer” neurotransmitter that counters glutamate, the “upper”).
However, more specific research is needed for improved accuracy in describing and predicting how terpenes in cannabis can be used medicinally to help treat specific ailments / health conditions.

The best advice is to test our products against others always, we’re confident you’ll feel the difference. Which is why we’re Club Hemp, with members, not not a company simply selling hemp oil like many others.

We listen and adapt to what our customers like, and strive to deliver the best quality. But the only proof is in what you feel, what it does for your specific body, not what it does for anyone else.

How long do Club Hemp products last?

We designed our products to last approximately 1 month. Some say they feel the effect of our product almost immediately and one dose of our product can last them a whole day, while others need multiple applications.

Effects vary depending on your condition, severity of your symptoms, your body mass, etc. Generally, we suggest testing the product at the lowest recommended dosage and then increase the dosage until you feel the benefits.

Can I stop taking my medications if I use Club Hemp products?

We cannot recommend that you stop taking your medications for obvious reasons. We are not able to give you health advice nor recommend medication usage because we do not know you, nor have we the experience to give you a professional opinion. You should consult your health professional to get their advice.

What we can say is our products have helped many people who gradually transition from their old practices to new, with the help of their trusted professionals and trying out the hemp oil to feel the benefits before making any drastic moves.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Everyone’s body is different. It may have taken you years to get to the condition you are currently in…and it is hard to expect to have it go away overnight. We recommend that you start on the recommended usage level and then increase the frequency. For example, once in the morning, and once at night. If not, then add a third session in the middle of the day.

We recommend that you take a daily journal for the next week or so. Record your discomfort level while on the product, and record your level while not on our product. The product takes about 48 hours to wear off. Most people say they don’t feel anything, but in reality, their body just adjusts subtly, and they don’t notice the difference until they use a journal.

Like any health regimen, it takes time and observing how you feel, just as your body developed symptoms over years, it takes time to have the oils impact you. Everyone is different, so be patient.

How can I adjust dosage for large and small animals?

We recommend using our Furbabies Hemp Oil for Pets. The recommended dosage is one dropper full per 50 pound pet.  So if you have a 10 pound cat, we recommend about 1/4 dropper full with food.

If it is an 80 pound pet, then you might start at a dropper and a half or even 2 droppers full.

Each day add a little bit more, and start out at the lower dosage is the best advice. That way you can make sure your pet gets the right dosage, because beyond weight there are differences in diet, exercise, and the dog and/or cat that should be taken into consideration.

Research and evidence
Several studies point to the potential benefits of CBD for anxiety. For generalized anxiety, the National Institute on Drug Abuse says that CBD has been shown to reduce stress in animal studies. Study subjects were observed as having lower behavioral signs of anxiety. Their physiological symptoms of anxiety, like increased heart rate, also improved.
Studies have also shown some benefits for other forms of anxiety, such as social anxiety disorder (SAD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). CBD may also help treat anxiety-induced insomnia.
In 2011, a human study on CBD and its effects on SAD was published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology. Participants were given either an oral dose of 400 milligrams of CBD or a placebo. The results showed that those who took the CBD dose experienced overall reduced anxiety levels.
On the other hand, a 2017 comprehensive review of CBD studies in psychiatric disorders found inconclusive results. According to the authors, there isn’t enough evidence to claim CBD as a treatment for depression. However, the authors do note positive results for anxiety disorders. Based on their review, more human tests are needed to better understand how it works, what ideal dosages should be, and if there are potential side effects or hazards.
CBD has also been studied in other neurological disorders. A 2016 study found some antipsychotic benefits of CBD in schizophrenia. The authors indicated a preference for CBD over antipsychotic drugs, which are known to cause significant debilitating side effects.
